Custom Stop Motion Transformers Figures as seen in the first movie. Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Optimus and more. Check the custom transformers here. My favorite is sideswipe in his action stance.

These were made by a guy way into Transformers and in stop motion animation. His videos are really good as well. The stop motions he does are pretty slick as well.

Skids is funny as heck in his videos and he captures their character really well. SimonatMac is his name and you can check out his vids at the links. He's got slick animations and some sweet shots of his repaints and customs.

He says they're not perfect, but I say they're pretty good. Guess I'll let you be the judge of that!

Custom action figures based on Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen movie. There's about 20 different customs to show off in pictures and videos. Looking at it my favorite is the Animated G1 colored Starscream done in the style of the Clone Wars Animations.

Not all of these are perfect customs but I felt the toys were good inspiration for mine and hopefully your own work. Some of them like the protoform are impeccable, and I could never be able to perform at the skill. Other favorites include the Bumblebee Corvette and the goofy robot transformers from the movie.

A good video about customizing a Killer Whale Search and Rescue Vehicle with illuminated hull so that you have a light setup in the water. This is a how to video that will show you how to set it up. Even waterproof so you can take your custom GI Joe vehicle on the water, and be the only one with search lights.

The vehicle is lightweight and will go good with your other custom figures. You will need a ground setup and a few more extra batteries.

Fan Expo 2009 was a blast and 2010 will be good. This is just some of the highlights of the new toys coming out including Marvel, Tron, and more. A quick glimpse of Bruce Campbell and Artist's Alley. I loved the Darth Vader custom Bust and the crazy costumes people were wearing.My favorite exhibit was actually a local toy customizer who was from Ontario where this convention took place. He used old dolls, but did his own thing. Professionally he is a 3d artist, but his custom work was good enough for him to start his own toy line. How To Make Custom Robot Toys

Find out how to make custom robot toys in this simple step by step tutorial to toy making. Whether you want to make tin, plastic, or clay models, this is it.

This video is provided by a toy maker that specializes in toy robots. What he does is take pieces from other toys, and bunch them together to make custom looking robots. If you want to do the same, you are going to need junk toys, screwdrivers, screws, hammer, pliers, etc. so you can perform toy operations!

This guy swears that you should not use super glue and the key is to make sure it stays a good moving robot, just like a professional made. You will also needa dremel to cut your pieces, sand down sections, etc. Before you piece together once you got your design you need to paint the bugger, which involves primering it, and then either airbrush, spray can, or model paint like Testors.

To connect the pieces you carefully drill holes in your pieces and use screws to piece them together.

Thanks to Erik Beck he dug through deep piles to find the original blue prints for the light sabers that hit the big screen and defined the weaponry of the franchise Star Wars. Thanks to Backyard FX, the makers of this video's concept of creating high quality items with a low budget in mind you can create fancy replica weaponry that looks great above the mantle piece.

The things you need to do include getting the materials which is covered in the video, putting them together, and then if you want to make cool effects for a movie, follow the steps in the vid to make light saber duels with a little simple computer animation.

For a customizer, this young kid has quality skills. Here is a brief 5 minute video that shows Zombie Boy's custom lego works of art. They are not for sale, it is just a hobby it does for fun, but I hope his video will give you inspirations for your own work. Included are custom painted mini-figs, transformer wanna-bes, star wars and more.

What you should take from this video is that customizing is for all ages and that the sooner you start the more you can learn and have fun with custom toy making. Custom toy logging trucks Look Real, Make You Want Them

One of the harder custom toys to make are cars, because of the attention to detail required at the same quality of real cars. To make it harder try making an obscure truck like a logging truck and a log loader and you'll realize the attention of detail that toy customizer Jeff Tellefsens gone into to make these works of art. Here is the gallery of his designs and they are available for sale directly from him.

Some of the things he did to add attention to perfection is a custom true to life paint job, custom metal and wood work, and using a microscope for the small details I'm sure. Check it out below.
